About
I'm Laura. I photograph proposals and weddings across the Riviera Maya, from Tulum.
The pictures I care about are the sweet and intimate ones: the look right before the kiss, the laugh in the middle of the vows, a hand held a little too tight. I trained in theater, so I catch the shifts in emotion as they happen. A little direction when it helps, then I leave you to each other.
I'm great at conspiring surprises. I plan them with the person proposing and the venue, and I stay hidden until the moment comes.
Six years working in Tulum, alongside years in hospitality and event production. I know how these days run. I work from your timeline. English, Spanish, and Romanian.

Questions
Are there venue or outside vendor fees?
Venues set their own fees and control access. Access is handled by your coordinator or the venue contact. Ask your venue what applies to photographers.
How far ahead should we book?
I recommend 3 to 6 months ahead. Last-minute dates are possible. Ask and I will check.
How does the deposit work?
A 50% deposit locks the date. The remainder is due before the event.
Do you travel?
Yes. I work within Mexico and outside it. Tell me where.
When do we get our photos?
A sneak peek within 48 to 72 hours. The full edited gallery within 40 days.
What about backup gear and a second photographer?
Backup equipment always comes to the shoot. A second photographer can be added by agreement when the timeline needs it.
Can we get the raw files?
Raw files are available as a paid add-on. They are for personal use only.
What happens if it rains?
I adapt to your event's rain plan. If the timing or locations change, I adjust with you and your planner, as long as it doesn't conflict with another booked commitment.
Do you work with my planner?
Yes. I coordinate directly with your planner on the timeline, the venue, and access.

When you recommend a photographer, your name goes with it. I take that seriously.
I've produced events, so I read a day the way you do. I see what's coming before it happens, I'm where I need to be, and I don't need to be found. Your couples are looked after, and you get to put your attention where it's actually needed.
I keep to the timeline and I deliver on the dates I give you. Work with me once and you'll know what you're getting every time after.
